DANIELLE KINDER

Owner & Interior Designer

From designing doll clothes as a child to solo building her children a tree fort, Danielle has a true do-it-yourself spirit. Her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism & Communication landed her in the graphic design and marketing industry. She successfully ran Minga Creative, with her partners, where they worked with a variety of mid-sized companies/organizations including Yosemite National Park, Portland Children's Museum and Portland General Electric.

After her first child, Danielle took a break from the agency life to spend time raising her daughter, and went on to have two more children. Her husband's career later took them to Vietnam for three years. While living and traveling in Asia, she was exposed to a wide variety of furniture manufacturing, textiles and ceramics. A dream for a textile and sewing geek. Her travels and exposure inspired her to start a small business designing lamp shades, pillows and fashion accessories.

Repatriation and settling the family back into life in America, kept her busy along with remodeling a home to fit the family of 5. After seeing the results of the remodel, friends and family began asking for design help with their remodel projects and redecorating, which has brought her to where she is today.

Danielle feels incredibly grateful for her community and the opportunity to put her passion for remodeling and interior design to good use helping others.

JESSICA WILDE

Project Manager & Interior Designer

Keeping it all together and organized while designing, that's Jessica. She has crafted her talents through years of studying design and decorating. Her eye for quality makes a difference in everything Danielle Kinder Desgins does.

Jessica's love of design began as early as she can remember. As a little girl, she would move furniture around the bedroom she shared with her sister every few weeks to find the perfect layout and make the space feel new and improved. It drove her sister crazy but her parents were always surprised by her resourcefulness.

From there, she moved on to helping her grandmother tear apart many of her rentals. She would remove wallpaper to hanging something lovely in its place, helping select tile for an update to a tired bathroom, or pick new paint for a living room.

Her early discovery of design and involvement in her grandmother’s bustling rental business inspired her creative energy for taking a room that wasn’t pretty and reinventing it with new colors or surfaces.

Jessica's excitement for design, color and beautiful architecture make her a true asset to Danielle Kinder Designs.

BONNEY JOHNSON

Design Assistant

Bonney’s love of design began in childhood. She was always interested in the stories spaces could tell about the people that lived in them. It was that love of storytelling as well as her entrepreneurial spirit that led her to start her own staging company.

Having the opportunity to stage and style homes from a wide range of eras and architectural styles further sparked her passion of wanting to create beautiful spaces in a meaningful way. This motivated her to enroll at Heritage School of Interior Design to gain the technical skills needed to bring her ideas to life.

She approaches each project with thoughtfulness and joy. She values the role our surroundings take within our lives, and strives to create spaces that serve as well as inspire.

As Design Assistant, she is able to combine her love of interiors as well as her exuberance to take on any task that comes her way, becoming a valuable member of Danielle Kinder Designs.
